Uis Tin Mining Company Pty Ltd an equal opportunity employer, situated in the Erongo region,
hereby invites competent & suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of HR Assistant.
This position reports to the Human Resource Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist HR Officers (Payroll, Training, and IR) with site-related functions when necessary.
– Assist with the induction process of new employees and the separation of terminated
employees.
– Assists with the Roll-out of policies on Site.
– Schedule meetings, and interviews and ensures communications notices and memo are placed
on the notice board.
– Assist HR Officers with matters relating to scheduling pre-employment, annual, and exit
medical assessments.
– Assist the HR officers with performance management and assessments.
– Assist to roll out various organizational improvement initiatives.
– Actively participate in safety and/or toolbox meetings.
– Taking minutes for HR-related meetings.
– Updating employees’ files and maintaining an effective filing system.
– Perform all general related administrative duties as required.
– Actively participate in safety and/or toolbox meetings
Key Requirements:
– Grade 12 certificate.
– National Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification.
– Minimum 3 years of experience within the HR field, preferably in the mining industry.
– Must have knowledge of Namibian Labour Laws.
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, additional local language will
be an advantage.
– Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office and VIP Payroll system.
– Valid Code 08 Drivers license.
– Being vaccinated against COVID-19 will be an added advantage.
